SVIZZERA - CHRISTIAN BOLT

Visitor, the marble sculpture by artist Christian Bolt, deals with various aspects of searching. On the one hand, with searching as done by visitors to the OPEN 12, on the other as searching for himself and others. The distribution of the roles between visitors and those visited is put into perspective. Everybody is searching, therefore both the visitors and those visited are searching. Visitor identifies searching as a basic human task. However, man neither discovers what he is looking for in himself nor by himself. He only finds what he is searching for in a counterpart.
